While the 2000s enjoyed the emergence of big-serving players such as Andy Roddick the fears of the previous decade never really came to pass. Indeed, over the last 10 years, there have been eight different ...

Resolved Question: What do you think about
As we all now he's going to get retired after the US Open. He's only 30. And maybe that's a good age to stop playing pro tennis but there are always guys like John McEnroe, too. So what do you guys think about it? Too soon?

Resolved Question: Andy Roddick Retires :'(?
So Andy Roddick announced his retirement after USO...He is just 30 now :'(
So idk why that quick was necessary or it's just because he gave USO that much importance that he wanted to end it here.
It's not me it's his words.... “I just feel like it’s time. I don’t know that I’m healthy enough or committed enough to go another year. I’ve always wanted to, in a perfect world, finish at this event (the US Open). I’ve thought all year that I would know when I got to this tournament,”
Anyway if not today then might be tomorrow...it was about to come...because somehow he was not like before...he definitely was loosing his motivation & focus from the game...whatever the reason is.
He was a gr8 person...gr8 from heart & never feared to speak his heart out loud...& player wise he was ONE TOP FAN FAVORITE...when he was more dedicated towards tennis he was one to look out for....his aces, his athleticism, his shots...all were gr8.& ofc he was one HANDSOME MAN in the circuit which noone can deny (though he was loosing hair...but still)....& I always loved him.
I know ppl know me as Serena fan but Andy has always been my fave male tennis player...so it's a sad news for me....today I'm missing Anna a lot (she was one of the oldest TS member & arguably Roddick's no. 1 fan).
I wanted to write lots of praising things abt Andy(which he deserve) & my emotion towards it....bt nothing coming I don't know why! Not that I'm crying or anything like that, but just not feeling very good :(
I just hope he enjoys life after tennis in whatever way he wants, spend more time with wife, focus on his business, I wish he has lots of nice, cute talented & ofc good looking babies because am sure he will be a gr8 dad.
SO GOODBYE ANDY RODDICK & ALL THE BEST FOR UR LIFE....GOD BLESS U :)
