Resolved Question: Why are John Lennon and
John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Björn Ukvaeus, and Benny Andersson are my favorite songwriters. I love John, Paul, Benny, and Björn dearly yet it seems to me that John and Paul are more popular than Benny and Björn.
As much as I love John Lennon and Paul McCartney very much, I think both Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus also deserved to be popular. Even George Harrison as a songwriter is also more popular than Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus. Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus are the main songwriters for the band pop band ABBA.

"Swedish music shares many aspects with Norwegian music, country with which Sweden was united from 1812 to 1905.There is Sami music and Swedish music. Their kind are separated
However, Sweden has also shone with the swedish band called ABBA which had a huge success in the world.
Sweden had not great composers during the Classical period. The most famous are Carl Michael Bellman, Wilhelm Stenhammar, Wilhelm Peterson-Berger, Hugo Alfvén, Franz Berwald, Lars-Erik Larsson, Allan Pettersson and Johan Helmich Roman. Per Conrad Boman and Jacob Niclas Ahlström has also published Svenska folksånger, folkdanser och folklekar, one of most famous classical music of nineteenth-century Sweden.
Swedish music has undergone extensive development and have touched most of the world.
Swedish jazz is represented by Jan Johansson, Alice Babs, Esbjörn Svensson Trio, Jacob Karlzon, Nils Landgren, Bobo Stenson, Mats Gustafsson, Anders Jormin, Koop, Monica Zetterlund, Palle Danielsson, Lars Danielsson, Torbjörn Zetterberg, Jonas Hellborg, Ulf Wakenius Mats Rondin, Putte Wickman and Magnus Lindgren.
In 1970, the Swedish musical talent is manifested most notably with the group winner of Eurovision 1974, ABBA (composed of Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Benny Andersson). Roxette, Ace of Base, Kent, Carola Häggkvist, Helena Paparizou, Army of Lovers, Neneh, Eagle-Eye Cherry, Robyn, A * Teens, Nanne Grönvall, The Cardigans, Europe and Alcazar follow this success.
The Swedish rock scene has recently seen names appearing like Eskobar, Clawfinger, The Sounds, Peter Bjorn and John, The Hives, Hardcore Superstar, Millencolin, Loney, Dear, The Hellacopters, Mando Diao, Shout Out Louds, José González, Stefan Olsdal, The Knife, The Ark, Jens Lekman and Royal Republic. Their success is such that there are clubs specializing in Swedish rock in many European capitals.
Finally, the most common type is the heavy metal (death metal, black metal, melodic death metal, progressive metal and power metal)
One of Sami traditions particularly interesting is the song joik (pronounced Yoik). The joiks traditionally sung a cappella, usually slowly and back of the throat, making reflected the anger or pain. The missionaries called them "songs of the Devil." Nowadays, the joiks are frequently accompanied by instruments.Sami music is characterized by its pure and sweet melodious sound reflecting the nature.
The Swedish literature most often told the glorious deeds of a noble family or glorious acts.
Indeed, the first literary Swedish text known is stone Rök, which was carved during the Viking period and it is estimated up to about the year 800.
With the improvement of education, the sixteenth century saw the development of many authors of the Swedish language. Some of the key figures in this literature are: Georg Stiernhielm the first to write classical poetry in Swedish Johan Henric Kellgren (eighteenth century), who wrote the first Swedish prose; August Strindberg (late nineteenth century), an internationally recognized playwright.
In the early twentieth century, we saw arriving Swedish notable writers, such as Selma Lagerlöf (Nobel prize for literature in 1909) and Pär Lagerkvist (Nobel laureate 1951). Between 1949 and 1959, Vilhelm Moberg wrote a tetralogy narrative entitled The Emigrants (Swedish: Utvandrarna), considered one of the masterpieces of Swedish literature.
In recent decades, a new generation of writers is established such as Henning Mankell novels and Jan Guillou. Not to mention, the world-famous novelist child, Astrid Lindgren, author of works such as Pippi Longstocking, among others. At the beginning of the twenty-first century, the journalist Stieg Larsson, has become a worldwide publishing phenomenon with his Millennium trilogy.
Stieg Larsson, born August 15, 1954 (Skelleftehamn in the region of Västerbotten) and died on 9 November 2004 (Stockholm) is a Swedish journalist and writer known for his commitment against right-wing extremism and racism. In publishing Millennium trilogy, he becomes world famous."
