Resolved Question: Does he look like
He is half German half Irish, (German father, Irish mother) and was born in Heidelberg, Germany, but was raised in Ireland from the age of 2.
He's 6'1 tall. Do you think he is handsome??
I do!!! I think he kind of looks a bit like Christopher Plummer did in the sound of music as Captain Vonn Trap but a slighty lighter version and he has a more strong jaw/cheekbones.
And do you prefer him as a blonde or with the dark hair? I think he looks very German with the blonde hair, and more Irish with darker hair.

Resolved Question: Someone explain why
Christopher Plummer, who is up for best Supporting actor at tomorrow nights Oscars, deserves the Oscar according to everyone, but why? is it for his mere roll in Beginners or is it for his life long career of great roles?
If it is just for his role in beginners, why? maybe I don't have the trained eye of a critic yet but I didn't see how it was Amazing! it was really good!
if it's for his life long career of greatness then I kind of understand, but aren't the Oscars for celebrating 2011 only?
