Resolved Question: Anyone know the name of
There's a movie I'm looking for but can only remember a few vague details. I thought Joan Plowright was in the movie. But could be wrong.
All I can remember about it was that I thought an older woman,Joan Plowright, was taking care of a young girl. In the movie, the girl burns herself with cigarettes. She has a small box of items she treasures. I remember in what i believed to be the end, the older woman cutting the hedges and the little girl was trying to talk to her, but she was ignoring her. I have no idea what the movie is titled, and would love to know. Thank you. It is Zelly and me. Have been searching for this movies forever lol.

Resolved Question: Name of movie with
I need to find the name of a movie from the 90's about a little brunette girl whose parents are estranged. She's probably around 5 - 8 yrs old. Her grandmother is left to take care of her. They are rich and her grandmother has this huge house, maybe a mansion.
The grandma does not let the little girl have any friends, so the little girl is forced to play by herself with her own imagination. She makes up friends out of stuffed animals. Toward the end of the movie she makes a friend out of one of her socks. She stuffs it, puts lipstick on it, and names it Socky. Then she proceeds to put it on a record player so that it moves.

Resolved Question: What is this movie
My History teacher showed us this movie and here's what i remember from it.
It was set in the middle ages
The actors in the movie are dead except a baby that was in the movie since it was made a long time ago.
A joke is made somewhat like "...the duke does what the duke did because the duke..." Its not the exact quote but a lot like it since they are talking about or with the duke in the movie
One of the rebels is hypnotized by one of the kings men and when someone snaps he changes from someone brave and loyal to the kind that falls in love with the princess to the rebel who has to sabotage the kingdom or something.
At one point while the the rebel who gets hypnotized and a girl rebel get stopped by the kings men because kings men are searching for a baby that is the true king and the male rebel plays an old man and the woman is trying to make of what he is saying which is just random gibberish and its a funny part of the movie.
This is all that i can remember from the movie so if you remember what the movie is called i would be very grateful.
