When Howard Dean said that the difference between Democrats and Republicans is that "the Democrats just prefer not to see kids go to bed hungry at night", does he mean that Democrats condone the kind of irresponsible behavior that would allow innocent children to be born into homes where the people responsible for their well-being and upbringing don't even have the means to feed those kids or does he and his party truly believe that Republicans want to see children starve?
