Resolved Question: A book about a boy stuck
A children/young adult book. I can't remember too many of the details, but, it was a really dark house at the end of the street that had like dark clouds over it all the time. The person had this train track kind of think on a table in the attic I think. I was a play town I believe. And the people were stuck there. I remember reading it in the 5th grade I believe, I'm 19 now.

Resolved Question: What are these children's
when i was younger there was a series of books i read.
in one book it was about this boy and he lives with a a man who always has a cloud over his head and talks "like thisss". the boy is shrunk and put in the mans toy set and the man leaves crumbs for him to eat, but they turn you into plastic. they boy has some carrots in his pocket though and by feeding these to the almost plastic people in the toy set he makes them back to normal. the ending has something to do with a cockroach?
in another book he is taken to a big house or castle with this baby. there he meets another one of those people/things with a rain cloud over his head called iggy. iggy used to be a burglar and can open locks or something? iggy and the boy become friends.
i know this sounds really strange but i can't for the life of me remember what these books were called and it is really annoying me! thanks for helping! :)

Resolved Question: NAME THIS BOOK?
I remember reading a book from my school library and I have forgotten the name and only remember little bits about it, here they are.
A scary tall man who kidnaps everyone who knocks on his door, he gives them a potion or puts a spell on them and makes them tiny (figurene size) and then tranports them to his makeshift city on the table in his loft.
When they're on this makeshift city, they live there and what ever else but if they don't eat they turn into stone. Every night on this makeshift city a ghostly animal comes out and tries to eat of all the people in the city.
The man who does this is really tall, and I remember him having to go to a bank one day. I think the story was that he had to adopt a little girl and then he ended up making the girl small and living on the table, the girl finds a way to get of the table with the help of everyone else on the table. They find crumbs on the table and eat them to survive.
The books target age is probably 11+, it had quite a long and weird title.
I've tried to type everything I can remember, wow remembering books is so hard. I'm sure I sound like a right freak, and the book sounds weird to but I'd love any help you could give me. Thanks.
