Resolved Question: Have the Australians now
Should he fall on his sword, or wait to be sacked?
Should Graeme Swann have a quiet word about how to retire with dignity?

Resolved Question: Do some people not
Prior may never come back either.
Lots of people seem to be brushing it off as a 'transition' phase but those three are a massive loss to England. England's number 3 and 4 are gone, the backbone of our batting attack for the past five years. No one is experienced enough to fill the shoes of TWO top order batsmen.
Swann is out as well, the orchestrator of a historic series win in India. No spinner in England is as good as him, we simply don't have a replacement.
The sudden loss of those three is pretty huge for England. Compare it to the loss of Smith and Kallis for SA, who have been allowed to play on past their prime, being gently phased out with replacements waiting in the wing.
There is no simple 'transition' for England, no one saw the three losses coming. It will just be a case of throwing people in the deep end and seeing who sinks or swims.

Resolved Question: Is this a case of the pot
Vaughan said on Twitter that England fans should be offered a partial refund after it was announced Alastair Cook, Ian Bell, Graeme Swann, James Anderson and Broad himself would be absent from the five-match NatWest Series, starting on September 6. Broad labelled Vaughn's comments as disrespectful. Is broad in the position to judge respectfulness considering he was named as one of the peeing trio?
