  Resolved Question: What is it like working
Hi, I have an interview later this week for a local grocery store. I have 5+ years of customer experience, some retail, fast food related experience, coffee, etc. I have a lot of job experience over the years since high school. I was not told what position I would be interviewing for, but I imagine it is probably for customer service, or cash. What are your experiences working in grocery stores? Are they a fairly easy job to learn? Are there stressful hours? Bad customer experiences? What are uniforms, dress codes and personal appearance rules like? What kinds of questions were you asked during the interview? I have been working at a McDonald's for the past four years as a crew trainer, but left to go to school last fall. I decided to try something different this summer since fast food isn't the most pleasant job to be in, and waiting for my interview later this week. I just wanted to get a heads up on some sort of experiences before going into the interview and potentially the job.

Hey everyone, how much do you spend on average in a month/year on groceries? Please specify if you're a normal eater with no allergies, or a vegan, or have allergies, or a vegetarian, ect.. And if you're vegan or vegetarian, please specify which kind you are. (Pescatarian, Flexitarian, Raw foodist ect.) Also, please list if you do any special deals, use coupons, or anything else. I know some people who do the CSA farming exchange so please just list if you do anything like that. Another thing, please list if you live alone, with a family of however many, or if you have roommates, in college, ect. I am going to be supplying myself with my own groceries soon, so I just want to know some rates. All is much appreciated, thank you!
