Open Question: How should we do the
I'm an assistant Varsity Basketball coach and I coach the #1 ranked team in the Nation. We are undefeated and last night we won again on the road by like 20 against a good team, but the rigorous schedule is taking a role on the players, especially the starters. The next 4 Games are against regional competition, garbage teams. The Titans have a good big man with guards who suck, Holloway High is garbage, the Cougars are too selfish, and the Raiders always get Ito foul trouble. We are trying to give our stars some rest but I don't want to rest everyone and risk losing. Our starting 5 goes: Devin(best player in Country), Mark(Georgetown commit), Julian(6'10 Center), Reggie(Alabama Football recruit), and the fifth guy changes depending on who we play. I want to give those 4 guys rest especially Devin and Julian. The weird thing is even kids who don't play that much are tired. I'm considering resting Devin, Mark, and Julian and allowing the others kids to play and bringing up some kids from the JV team. Out of the 4 players, which should I rest? Should everyone rest all the games? How should we organize the rotation?
