Resolved Question: Has anyone ever read any
I'm looking for a good novelist to get into (current novelist). What's his stories like? Who could you compare him to? All I ever read is old stuff, because I'm an English major in school. I enjoy Chuck Paleniuk (forgot how to spell that) but I wanna read more stuff from current writers. Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Resolved Question: Ken Follett - The Pillars
I am reading a rather old copy of Ken Folletts, The Pillars Of The Earth, and I am close to the end. Unfortunately my book appears to be missing pages 1071 and 1072, which is very annoying, seeing as though it is only 5 pages from the end. If anybody has a full copy and is willing to type it up, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Thanks tiandron, I didn't account for the different editions. It is a paper back, 2007 edition from pan books. The final sentences on page 1070 are:
Jonathan went back down the spiral staircase.
Jack paused at the doorway and pointed a threatening finger at Aliena. 'Later,' he said.
And the first sentences I have on page 1073 are:
Jack felt profoundly sad. All his father ever wanted to do is entertain people, Mother said.
