  Resolved Question: British comedy character
I'm trying to find out the name of a bald, beady-eyed bit-part player with a bushy, white beard who was in a number of black & white British comedy films - I thought it was Moore Marriott in "Oh, Mr Porter!", but photos disprove this. Can anyone help? It turns out it was Sydney Bromley. Wikipedia was not much help without a name or specific film title. Lionel Jeffries was too famous, too tall and (usually) not enough beard! Looking at Yahoo! Images of all the comedy films I could think of, I found him in "Carry on Cowboy" and, with a name to go on, I was able to track his full filmography from "Brief Encounter" to "Crystalstone". Thanks anyway...
