for social studies i have an assignment worth 4 credits. i have to choose a leader and basicly research in detail about them using three questions ive come up with. my three are... 1) which of her actions made her so well known? 2) what was her impact on society? how does that effect the world we live in today? 3) what was her background/Culture? is there anyway that this has noticeably influenced her decisions? if you could give me any ideas on how to make my questions sound better. or what to google, maybe a good website? that would be great! but what should i add to these to make sure i get the 4 credits in excellence? any tips? thanks xox

I know I can look on Wikipedia etc to find my answer but I don't actually understand any of it because of the wording; I find it too complicated! Can someone please just explain (in an easy-to-understand-way) what she did and why when she was in power? I know she was VERY right wing and very much for the rich, she blew up the Belgrano and created difficulty with the miners, but that's pretty much it. I don't know the background behind any of it... I asked my Mum about the Belgrano and she really wasn't sure (so don't get in a mood if it's wrong) but she mentioned something like, 'Thatcher told them not to cross the line because it was our territory - they did - so she blew them up' kind of thing... So yeah - if anyone wouldn't mind explaining to me about Mags in an easy to understand way, that would be fab :) Thanks!

I'd like to write a short story about the Iron Lady for my school writing competition. I'm 15 though so I'm not fully confident about what her intentions were for Britain. Also what did she actually do? I don't mean to sound stupid haha but I'm not that sure. And I don't want to write something that is inaccurate or just wrong all together. The more detail the better. Also why was she named 'The Iron Lady'? That's just out of curiosity. And what do you think was her biggest action? Like, what was her greatest achievement for Britain, and what was one of her worst moves, the very worst if there is one. The main thing though, is what do you think would be the best event she was leader of, or just involved in, to write about? I'd like something that was quite important to Britain's history, if that makes sense haha.. Thank you for all your help! :)
