  Resolved Question: The Unbearable Lightness
How can you justify Tomas's promiscuity as "lightness"? Do you think that Tereza was right to be with Tomas despite knowing his uncontrollable urge to sleep with other women? I know the novel is far more deep and philosophical, I understand the essence of the story very well but still something didn't felt right. Personally, I prefer "lightness" in life but somewhere down the line you become obligated to things and people without any particular intention which I tend to avoid mostly.
