Resolved Question: In your opinion do you
i mean, i know peter jackson was trying to go for epicness, but in the end, in my opinion he failed badly at his adaption of lord of the rings, it was over sensational, dramatic nonsense, over acting hogwash.....j.r.r tolkien never ever intended for his works to be presented in that light at all......lord of the rings was not supposed to be presented as jackson did.
i thought the ringwraiths were good, he did a bad job of the orcs though, but the trolls were good.
other than that nothing other positive to say.....i thought 1978s ralph baksis animated verson of lord of the rings was far better and more accurate to how tolkien meant it to be.

Resolved Question: What do you think about
Apparently he's not making just one movie but 3 for The Hobbit by using the appendices from The Lord of the Rings, for example. He said it's to show what Gandalf was doing when he left the dwarves and Bilbo on their quest to retrieve their treasure from the dragon, Smaug. Do you think this is a wise decision or will it turn into a mess? Is Peter Jackson doing this just to make the movie longer and make more money off of bringing old characters from the previous films back into the new trilogy? Or do you think this is a good choice and will help flesh out the movie as it should be?
Any thoughts on this matter, people?
Personally I am happy for more films but not if it weakens the book-to-film adaption and spirals out of control. What do you think?
