Resolved Question: What's the name of this
I, sometimes, hear it in the morning, here in America, on the French24 Channel... It's a really sweet melody with an arrangement of piano and flute? It plays at the intro of "Akiyoshidai NHK World" with a British/Australian narrator talking. I remember it says the song is composed by Ryuichi Sakamoto.. but it did not mention the song name or anything. If anyone could help me find this one song, it'd be nice :) I live in America. PST time. They do it, earlier, in the morning around 7am or so.. I believe. Yes, we've just changed to PDT. If you do watch it and know the name of the song, please do share the name with me. Thanks :))

Resolved Question: Why do some not consider
I have read comments that he is a film composer and this discredits him. But this is not true, his solo works far outweigh his contributions to film. This also goes for Shiro Sagisu, /watch?v=ejSTUVFHzlc In my opinion this song (Heisoku no Kakudai) is greater than what my father said was arguably the most beautiful composition ever, the Claire de Lune. Why are these artists disregarded by (many) classical listeners? If not in the classical genre what would more suit these composers? Bob I understand their professions, I am just failing to understand what it means to be a contemporary classical composer. I can name a few so called classical composers of today but they just aren't on the level of Sakamoto or Sagisu. And how can the song I mentioned not be considered classical?

Resolved Question: Does anybody know which
The song is used in the second and third ads of Yves Saint Laurent's Opium: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWqJy377gMI (0:31 & 1:44) Youtube says it's from Sakamoto's score for The Last Emperor, I already heard all the score from that film and couldn't find it. So I believe is from another work from Sakamoto but I'm unable to find it. Please, help!
