Resolved Question: Advice for traveling to
I'm mostly worried about the sun. I'm very fair and can burn very easily, so should I be wearing a ton of sunscreen all of the time? I already have what I'm going to do planned out, and I was wondering if a bikini was ok for snorkeling, or does it have to be a one piece? Any packing advice would be great!

Resolved Question: Thoughts about traveling
I'm a little overwhelmed by all the planning involved in a big trip, and would really appreciate ANY tips. I want to go on an awesome trip this time next year (or later, depending on how soon I get started planning haha) I've been thinking about visiting Belize, since I'm stoked about anything having to do with the Maya, and the fact that it's an English-speaking country, since I don't speak other languages. Thoughts? Suggestions? Interesting tidbits? Thanks!

Resolved Question: Questions about Belize
I am thinking about moving to Belize to live when in about 2 years or so. I know things might change some by then, but I'd like to know the basics. I'm moving to the Cayo District to a town called Benque Viejo Del Carmen. I have friends that live there but because they are trying to get me to move, I think they might be exaggerating the facts a little. =P I'm moving to preach, so I don't need alot.
How do people in general feel about Americans? I know in some countries people don't really like them. I'm also white, so how do people feel about that? I don't care if people stare or whatever, I just don't want to be in danger.
How much would rent cost for a 2 bedroom apartment or house? nothing fancy. Just an average house in a good neighborhood.
How much would it cost for one person to eat for a week?
How's medical care?
I'm learning Spanish....slowly. I have 2 more years so I figure I'll be better by then. Do most people know English? How much will I need Spanish? What about other languages? I really don't ant to have to learn more languages just to live.
Dangers I need to know about? ( i realize they have snakes, cats and bugs I want to avoid, but other than that)
