Resolved Question: Are the RCMP constables
Several years ago I was driving up the highway just North of Prince George when a RCMP constable, in uniform, carrying a radar gun, ran out in front of my truck. I thought he had a problem so I began to pull off the highway when he waved me into the other lane. Once the oncoming traffic subsided, I moved over and went on my way. As I looked in my mirror, I saw that he ran in front of the vehicle behind me but waved it over to the side of the road. When I arrived at my destination, my friends explained that the RCMP was using a strategy where they hide their vehicle and themselves in the bushes then run out and catch speeders. I witnessed a similar performance just North of Cache Creek. Are they still doing that or was the attrition rate too high?
