  Resolved Question: Canadian residency for
1. John Brown and his family (his wife and 2 dependent sons) lived in New York City until June 30th at which time he was transferred and they all moved to Toronto. From July 1, he was employed in a Toronto accounting firm. Question: What kind of resident is he considered to be at December 31st? On what kind of income would he be taxed from January 1 – June 30? On what kind of income would he be taxed from July 1 – December 31? 2. Please determine when they were deemed to be a Canadian resident and what portion of their income is taxable in Canada in 2010: Pierre Leduc is a Canadian citizen who was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec in 1975. Two years later, he and his family moved to Burlington, Vermont and until October 2, 2010, he had never returned to Canada. He has a wife and 2 dependent children. On October 2, he rented a house in Magog, Quebec and started work. His family remained in Vermont until they could sell their house and moved to Magog on February 15, 2011. The first one I'm pretty sure he would be considered a resident once he moved to Toronto on July 1st. I am not sure about the second one though.

Resolved Question: What ever happened to Joy
Hi, Does anyone know what ever became of beautiful figure skater, actress Joy Leduc who was in the CBS TV Movie: "Champions: A Love Story" (with great co-star Jimmy McNichol) that originally aired 1-13-1979. When this aired I just turned 15 and I just went nuts over this girl and never forgot her or her name. I never heard her name again after this aired ... Ï tried searching for Joy today on Google but all I could find about her is a 2-6-1979 Michigan Daily newspaper clipping (dated weeks after Champions: A Love Story" originally aired) stating Joy was originally from Brantford, Ontario, Canada and both of her parents were figure skaters as well...The DVD of Champions: A Love Story is available on Ebay etc....(I just ordered it....) After all these years and her name in the back of my mind I went looking for her on Google today... Joy, update us on how you are.....

  Resolved Question: Alberta, Canada
My fiance and I are getting married on November 8th (Thursday) in a tiny outdoor ceremony and then having a wedding supper at a restaurant that evening. We're really trying to save money right now, we have bigger priorites like buying a house, so we need some ideas on how to have fun for the 4 days we'll have together to celebrate over the long weekend. We don't want to go too far since that would require hotel stays and more restaurant meals etc so we're thinking day trips at the most. What inexpensive fun things are there to do in and around Edmonton (we live in Leduc actually so south of Edmonton works better) at that time of year. We both love animals, anything from cows and horses to lizards and fish. We like being outside. We like more private things, we're not big fans of crowds. Any tips?
