Resolved Question: Ideas for places to go in
We've only ever been to northern france for long weekends but are considering taking a 2 week holiday and driving down to southern France in August.
Therefore, we would really appreciate if anyone can give us some ideas of towns that we can look into staying in (we will be privately renting). We have heard not even to bother heading to the Cote D-Azur in August because of the crowds so are looking for somewhere less touristy but still with enough to do.
We are happy to look anywhere from mid to all the way down to the Spanish border, as long as its going to be hot and also we don't mind if it is inland or by the coast. We are just looking for traditional towns with some sort of nightlife but not crazy just nice bars and restaurants that are more local prices than tourist prices! If we could drive to a beach in under an hour that would be good but if it is really inland we would try and rent a place with a pool.
We look forward to hearing from anyone with some ideas! Thanks!

Resolved Question: Where can I find a
Model, sketch, anything will do. I'm doing a project on Roman architecture, but I need to do the model on the structure around the time it was finished. I cannot find anything picture depicting Moissac abbey as it was in the 11-12th century; it was, after all, nearly destroyed by a fire and a railroad craze. However, my teacher says there are pictures out there. Will anyone please tell me if they find anything? Sorry, not really Roman times, but around the time it was built. Like before the changes to it occurred.

Resolved Question: I have a question for art
Would you say the sculptures on this portal (Saint Trophime in Arles) are influenced by those of the portal of Saint Pierre in Moissac, France?
If you can answer this question accurately I will give you 10 pts :)

Resolved Question: Help with Art History
Discuss the political implications of the Tympanum of La Madeleine at Vezelay. To what historic event is it linked? What features of the tympanum highlight that connection? In addition, explore the representational distinctions between the figures depicted in the sculptural composition.

Resolved Question: Catharism...11th - 13th
Okay, I'm doing some research for a personal interist, and I was wondering if anybody could help me. Okay, I know that the Cathars were a religious sect during the 11-13th century, but I want REGULAR words, not fancy ones...sheesh, I went on Wikipedia, and I had to constantly go back and forth between that and Webster's online dictionary...so please, if you could help it would be appriciated...
