Resolved Question: Top Ski resorts near
I'm american, never really snowboarded before.. So It would need to be somewhat good for beginners, but what I don't want is to get to a place with a downhill time of like a minute or less . I'm going to learn the basics as quickly as I can then I'm going to want to get on Intermediate slopes and expert.. I'm a lot more interested in snowboarding than Skiing .. Another thing, it seems so hard to find prices and websites for resorts.. : /

Resolved Question: Day Trip to Skiing Place
Can anybody recommend me a skiing place in Switzerland that's good for a day trip from Zurich? There are some non-skiers with us, so we would appreciate a place where they can do some little shopping, have a coffee and walk around. If possible, we would like to take the train but we could also organise a car.

Resolved Question: What is there to do in
My boyfriend and I are going to Zurich next year for a short holiday of about 4-5 days. Would it be possible to go snowboarding for a day at near-by slopes? Also what is there to do in the town? And what what is the cheapest way to travel once you are there? Oh, and how much spending money should I bring?
