Resolved Question: Cold honeymoon places?
me and my fiance just got engaged a few days ago and were looking into the honeymoon. neither of us like hot places so were looking for somewhere cold and snowy. we have discussed that our perfect place would be a log cabin by a lake with lots of snowy mountains and trees. not really too into a hotel or anywhere super busy. any suggestions?
thanks so much!! i do live in the uk, but were willing to get a plane anywhere

Resolved Question: Where is the best place
I will be in Switzerland for a week in January on business, traveling from the German alps area near Kempten across through Zurich then to Basel. I'd like to stop and ski somewhere for a day, but I'll only have two days available at most and will not have a car. I'm an intermediate skier, used to some US Midwest and Colorado mountains. I don't want to haul my own skis around for the business trip, so I need to find somewhere where the rentals are very convenient. Even better if there is a train station, hotel, etc. all in walking distance.

Resolved Question: Ski resorts in
I plan to go to Switzerland in January, I love skiing and that will be the main purpose of my visit. Can anyone recommend some good ski resorts there? I am not familiar with the places and it's a bit difficult to plan the trip without knowing specific destination :)
Thanks I will be there for 2-3 days max, so I think I will manage to afford even some high prices,
the thing is that I tried to search for hotels in the internet but as far as I don't know any resort names, it's hard to navigate.
maybe you could name 2 or 3 ski resorts for me to start my research on the web :)
