1. Current Status.
2. History. When did it stop being a democracy? Was there a dramatic event (a war or something) that made this change happen?
3. Does it look like a consistent democracy right now?
4. Which main parties compose the democracy? KMT and DPP.. Explain the ideologies/
5. Why does the KMT want to join China? How does this affect Taiwan politically? Would they have representation in China?
6. How does the relationship with China affect the relationship with the US? Why? Ir is interesting the the United States are moving further away from Taiwan because of the stronger ties with China due to the KMT in power. Why is this?
7. How is the current president? The president represents the country. Diversity? Capacity?
