Resolved Question: Independent travel in
Mae Hong Son
I am juggling ideas of going to Thailand this year.
I just wanted to get an idea from someone who has independently travelled to Thailand and hear some of their experiences.
I am looking at flying into Krabi, experiencing the Khao Sok National Park, Ko Hong, Sukhothai Historical park and ending the journey in Bangkok where I will fly home. Like I said I am just juggling ideas and have only taken hotels and flights into consideration. The only things I need some in depth info on are travelling between place to place - enjoying Thailand but remaining safe.

Resolved Question: What are the best
My Mother is coming to visit my girlfriend and I this week in Chiang Mai. I can think of many things to keep her amused here, however, she also wants to visit Pai and Mae Hong Son during here stay. I haven't visited either, and haven't got a clue what's available in terms of attractions and activities. She loves the outdoors, sightseeing, trekking, hilltribes, animals etc. Also, my girlfriend and I will want to do something as a couple for one of the days/nights, so something romantic will be needed too. With this in mind, can anyone name any particularly good places they have personally visited in the area that they would recommend?

Resolved Question: Traveling to Thailand?
Hello all !
I am travelling to Thailand start of 2012 only going for about 18 days just to try it out as I want to go there longer in a year or so! Anyway I would like to see some awesome things while I am there including ancient buildings and maybe do a bit of scuba... In this I am a novice as I am in a lot of things being 20.. So was just wondering if anyone could give me some feedback if they have been before how did they find it, what did they get up to? and what would you recommend? I am planning on taking about £800.00 for 18 days is this to little?
Appreciate all your answers.
