Open Question: Old, probably Sinead O`Connor
Hearing a Sinead O Connor song reminded me of a song i heard (most probably) from her, ages ago, probably in the `90s. It was a dark song with somewhat erratic, deep beats, as far as i remember with little singing but some spoken words, that kind of sounded like a prayer. I remember a friend describing it as a "witch song". At the time I didn t speak much english so i can t remember any of the lyrics. It wasn't clear from the details but it was an electronic track, i don't remember any acoustic instruments in it possibly a remix?

Resolved Question: What did you think of the
For those that haven’t heard them here is an article about it.
After the ‘We Can’t Stop’ singer counted O’Connor as one of her biggest influences, the Irish singer suggested she should stop. Cyrus responded Thursday by making a joke of O'Connor's mental illness.
The Irish singer penned an open letter to Miley Cyrus, advising the pop star to stop "sending the message" that it’s "cool to be prostituted."
Nothing compares to Sinead O’Connor — especially Miley Cyrus.
The Irish singer-songwriter gave some tough love to the twerking pop star Thursday, writing in an open letter that Cyrus is letting herself become a vulgar toy “prostituted” by the music industry.
“The music business doesn’t give a s--- about you, or any of us,” O’Connor wrote.
“They will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think it’s what YOU wanted and when you end up in rehab as a result of being prostituted, ‘they’ will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body and you will find yourself very alone.”
O’Connor penned the letter after the attention-hungry Cyrus revealed to Rolling Stone magazine that her “Wrecking Ball” music video — in which a nude Cyrus rides a wrecking ball and tongues a sledgehammer — was inspired in part by O’Connor’s 1990 video for “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
Cyrus told Rolling Stone that she modeled her "Wrecking Ball" video after O’Connor’s "Nothing Compares 2 U" video.
O’Connor, 46, wasn’t exactly flattered, and admonished Cyrus, 20, “in the spirit of motherliness and with love” about the dangers of making a name for herself through shock value.
“I am extremely concerned for you that those around you have led you to believe, or encouraged you in your own belief, that it is in any way ‘cool’ to be naked and licking sledgehammers in your videos,” wrote O’Connor, whose own personal profile for Internet dating was so lascivious that the site took it down.
“Nothing but harm will come in the long run, from allowing yourself to be exploited, and it is absolutely NOT in ANY way an empowerment of yourself or any other young women, for you to send across the message that you are to be valued (even by you) more for your sexual appeal than your obvious talent.”
She suspected that Cyrus is likely surrounded by enablers who encourage her to objectify herself
“No one who cares about you could support your being pimped . . . and that includes you yourself,” O’Connor wrote.
“Yes, I’m suggesting you don’t care for yourself.”
O’Connor said Cyrus was perpetuating a sexist system in which dirty old men make money off of talented, oversexualized women.
“Real empowerment of yourself as a woman would be to in future refuse to exploit your body or your sexuality in order for men to make money from you,” O’Connor wrote. “Men are making more money than you are from you getting naked.”
The same day the letter was released, so were new photos of Cyrus naked. Raunchy photographer Terry Richardson posted on his website the latest shots of Cyrus in New York City smoking what appeared to be weed in a tie-dyed shirt, posing in a see-through shirt and holding a can of Arizona Grapeade against her crotch.
I have to agree with Sinead especially with Miley perpetuating a sexist system in which dirty old men make money off oversexualised women and as the Wife and daughter of two music journalists I know how major record labels work and Miley is just being used as a puppet and I think one day when she gets off the drugs she is going to see that.
