Resolved Question: Why did Slobodan
What were his reasons for championing Serbian interests but simultaneously antagonizing, or pursuing negative relations with, the Kosovars? I'd heard the Muslim rebellion did not even start until after autonomy was revoked? From what I understood, the response was a largely non-violent separatist movement, and the eventual election of Rugova was seen as a move for a peaceful future; the KLA, as I understand it, did not begin its paramilitary operations until the early to mid 1990's?
