Open Question: Lance Armstrong and Doping?
Been following the Lance Armstrong ban for several days now. Couple questions I'm not understanding:
How did he avoid testing positive on all doping tests during his career? How was he finally busted? What was/were/is the smoking gun that caused his titles to be stripped and him banished for life?

Resolved Question: Where does the Tyler
All-Time Worst Trades...where would you rank that one?
Aside from the Eric Lindros for Peter Forsberg, Ron Hextall, Chris Simon, Mike Ricci, Kerry Huffman, Steve Duschesne, and Jocelyn Thibault...where does the other deal rank? Just after the Lindros deal? I know it's too early but let's face the facts. I owned a SF hat before him so he's jsut stealing my style and are you going to the dump Pittsburgh or the beautiful city by the river Philly? Cause PA is a big state and there's a whole lot of Rednecks between the two cities. Old City is for Tourist and Raging Drunks...once I am 21 that will be a haven for me.

Resolved Question: Why would Tyler Hamilton
Honestly, I can't see a reason for admitting to cheating in front of a grand jury if he wasn't telling the truth about Armstrong. What would be the point of ruining his own career if Armstrong was really innocent, wouldn't it then be better for him to lie and claim his own innocence?
And remember, the grand jury made him testify, if he did not testify he would have been held in the contempt of court. Except that Armstrong has had positive and suspicious tests before. When he claims he has never been positive, he is lying. If you knew your history, you would know that Eddy Merckx was caught a total of 3 times, one of which was controversial because it was a poorly handles test. Another was with something that has been removed from the banned list.
Look at the long list of known dopers from all of Armstrong's teams, where he was magically clean? He is associated with doctors known to help riders dope, and yet he is clean? It's a shame so many cycling fans are so naive. Have I said that it was fine that Eddy Merckx was caught? No, but you put words in my mouth. I simply will compare, and hold Merckx in a higher opinion, because his style of riding is highly admirable, unlike that of Armstrong.
Armstrong made cycling boring. He made it a sport where the big boys don't come out to play, and look for others to do all of the work. This is why I find it believable that the allegations of him pressuring his teammates into doping is believable.
I hope you don't get hurt too badly when the Armstrong bandwagon crashes and burns after he's found guilty.

Resolved Question: What do you think of the
Until that report came out I was 100% sure Lance never used dope. Now I am 90% he didn't use dope. As I see it, it still he one person against another persons word, so only Lance knows the truth. Anyways, what do you think?
