The new coalition with his political rivals Yair Lapid and Naftali Benet, who refuse to be in the government with the hard right ultra-Orthodox parties. In addition, they demand that Yeshiva students join the army and serve their country like the rest of Israelis. Tzipi Livni's party also joined the coallition.
